How the CEO Role Changes as the Business Grows (B.1.3)

Description

Successful leadership through various stages of business growth requires CEOs to adapt their focus, skills, and approach. This module explores how the CEO's role evolves from hands-on creator to strategic leader as the business progresses through five distinct growth stages. Participants will learn what's required at each stage - from achieving product-market fit in the Start-Up stage to ensuring long-term sustainability in Resource Maturity - and how to successfully transition between these roles.

It examines the specific leadership challenges, skills, and mindset shifts needed at each growth phase. Through practical frameworks and examples, CEOs will identify their current business stage and determine what adaptations they need to make in their leadership approach. Participants will create a Strategic Role Transition Plan to prepare for the challenges of their next growth stage.

Many executives find this approach valuable when facing growth transitions, experiencing leadership challenges at their current stage, or planning for their organisation's long-term development and sustainability.
